The DNA of any enterprise.
People say history repeats itself. Atleast, if you look deeply, it reveals a pattern.
Let’s look at entrepreneurship.
As per wikipedia, “Entrepreneur in English is a term applied to a person who is willing to help launch a new venture or enterprise and accept full responsibility for the outcome.”
It could be a non-profit, a for-profit, a band, a bank or any entreprise, but the core element is taking initiative and ofcourse taking risk.
A friend of mine recently described quite aptly how any successful enterprise has one/all of these three factors, in it’s DNA. A remarkable enterprise is formed when-
Team.
A bunch of passionate people just decide to hang around with each other until they change the world. Ex: The Beatles
Solution.
A guy or two stumbles onto something spectacular. A smart solution. An awesome algorithm. Now, they need a problem to use this for. And continue using this for. Ex: Google.
Problem.
A team of thoughtful individuals found a problem. They may or may not have the best solution yet but they want to chase the problem to death. Ex: Grameen Bank.
